We Are Green - Are you?
- Take shorter showers to reduce amount of water you use
- Recycle your cell phone and electronic appliances when your done with them
- Use a drying rack instead of a dryer when possible
- Unplug appliances when your done using them
- Install enegry efficient light bulbs
- Set your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter
- Reduce, reuse and recycle whenever you can
- Use a filter instead of bottled water
- Walk or bike to work when you can
- Buy digital!
The Haines Centre for Strategic Management® would like to announce it has Gone Green—To Keep Our Planet Clean. In effort to make our world a better place to live and work in we are increasing our digital production and decreasing our hardcopy inventory at our publishing arm, Systems Thinking Press®.
The Haines Centre’s hard work to Go Green goes far beyond that of digital production. We are also going green in our headquarters and in our daily lives as well. At our office we have installed 26 solar panels to our roof, installed new Energy Star windows throughout and have fully reinsulated the floors, ceilings and walls. Additionally, all of our staff reduce, reuse and recycle daily.
