SEAL exists to encourage networking of individuals, teachers, and trainers interested in exploring the dynamics of learning in any domain and the continual search for more effective approaches. It focuses particularly on promoting learning strategies that recognize the importance of affective as well as cognitive approaches, right as well as left hemisphere attributes, which value people as individuals, and acknowledge varied kinds of intelligence. Faced with the need for constant adaptation to a continually changing environment, it also encourages commitment to personal psychological development.
