Sheridan (Sheri) Barker, Ed.D. is an expert strategic planner, group facilitator, leadership coach and systems thinker. She is a Haines Centre’s practice co-leader for education and a Global Partner located in San Diego. Dr. Barker specializes in strategic planning, leadership development and collaborative cultures that enhance organizational effectiveness and produce superior results for stakeholders. She earned her doctorate in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego and her dissertation examined the role of cross-functional leaders in enterprise-wide change. Dr. Barker, a visionary leader with extensive administrative background in public education, is an acknowledged expert in systems change and leadership. She uses The Systems Thinking Approach® to create stronger coherence between strategic planning, thoughtful action, and achieving desired outcomes for dynamic and forward-thinking organizations.

She passed the rigorous ASP Standards and Certification Program Examination and has been designated an ASP Strategic Management Professional (SMP).

Dr. Sharon Barley is a Haines Centre Principal, focusing on Systems Coaching and Leadership in Religious Organizations. Dr. Barley’s purpose is to inspire individuals and organizations to discover their unique positioning and leverage their strengths through coaching, systems thinking consulting and training.

She works comfortably with all levels of leadership within organizations to enable individuals and teams to deal successfully with change, to improve their productivity & performance, to enhance work/life balance developing leadership capacity, to facilitate the innovation of high performance teams, and to generate effective change in the corporate climate through cultural transformation.

Dr. Barley has more than 20 years experience operating at senior management levels through marketing, product development and advertising. She works as an Intentional Interim Minister consulting with religious entities in change leadership, pastoral competency development, training, and organizational restructuring and strategic planning. She has successfully worked with one of the largest hospital systems in the Country, National organizations, and Religious Denominations and local Churches to provide new structures and vision for effective growth, change, leadership development and conflict resolution.

In her corporate work, she uses principles of Systems Thinking and Strategic Planning with Appreciative Inquiry to develop change processes from a systems perspective. She focuses on the concept of “presence” in leadership to help others find meaning and purpose in both work and ministry. Gary Bonalumi is a Haines Centre for Strategic Management Principal, Co-Leader of the Pennsylvania Office, and Project Leader for the Centre’s coaching line of business. Gary is one of the developers of the Centre’s unique Systems Thinking Approach® to Coaching™, or STAC™, which will be launched in May 2012 as a Coach Training Certificate, in partnership with a leading international provider of coach-specific training. He has also been appointed as Master Leader – Moderator for the Global Association for Systems Thinking’s (GAST) Individual, Interpersonal, and Family User Forum, which includes coaching from a systems perspective.

In addition to his work with the Haines Centre, Gary is President of C2LEAD, Inc., a consulting company offering a range of organization and human resource development services, including leadership training and development, management and executive coaching, strategic planning and management, Appreciative Inquiry, change management, and team development. He maintains a vigorous management and executive coaching practice.

Gary brings considerable knowledge of human behavior, organization development, human resource management, and adult education to leadership coaching, training, and organizational consulting. Gary has served in roles such as Director of Leadership and Employee Engagement, Manager of Organization Development/Retention Management, and was a practicing psychotherapist for over ten years.

Gary uses a unique hybrid of systems thinking and strategic management approaches with Appreciative Inquiry that has proven extremely effective in engaging and transforming organizational cultures. He is experienced in planning, implementing, and supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide change. His leadership development initiatives have received awards for innovation.

Barbara A. Collins - As a strategy consultant, Barbara Collins partners with client organizations to envision their desired outcomes, develop strategic plans for change and, most importantly, carry out effective implementation of their plans. Certified by the Haines Centre in Strategic and Systems Thinking and Reinventing Strategic Planning, Barbara has been providing organizational change and management training and consulting since 1982. Loren Tarantino is a Principal with the Haines Centre for Strategic Management located in South Bay, San Diego as our Co-Practice Leader in Education. She has more than three decades of experience in Education, doing teaching, training, facilitating, consulting, and supervising and project management. She has also consulted in corporate America as well as in school districts, educational unions and community-based organizations. She has assisted executives in business and education with strategic planning, policy development, and personal coaching.

Loren’s engaging, interactive style of public speaking and group facilitation have benefited business, education and governmental audiences at local, state and national conferences, workshops and seminars since 1986.

She is the co-author of Leading Effective Secondary School Reform (Corwin Press, 2005).

Loren’s strengths lie in her knowledge of organizational systems and her ability to come up with systems-wide plans and implementation tactics to get organizations to operate at peak performance.
