Principal vs. Certified Business Associate

There are many levels of membership in the Haines Centre. They include Global Partners, Principals, and Certified Business Associates. Nearly everyone who becomes a member will start out with us as either a Principal or Associate.

Both Principals and Associates go through the same steps to become a member of the Haines Centre. However their roles are fundamentally different.

Principals

Principals are members in the Haines Centre.
They have full membership and privileges. Principals are committed to a long-term professional and personal relationship with us and the Centre is just as dedicated to them.

A large number of our Principals have the potential to become Global Partners. Partners are the major decision-makers and leaders within the Haines Centre. The first step to get on the Global Partner track is for a Principal to primarily use the Haines Centre brand, along with his or her own brand (as desired). Deserving Principals who demonstrate mastery and leadership are accepted on the Global Partner track.

Certified Business Associates

Associates are a part of the Haines Centre’s network.
They have a more transactional, business role and utilize a separate primary brand. Most Associates join the Haines Centre for the use of our intellectual property and materials (on the six members-only CDs). Others join the Centre to position themselves with a prestigious Tier II organization.
