Barbara Collins is an organization development consultant and trainer, working with public and private organizations to improve management and delivery of effective human services. She has 30 years' experience as an internal consultant, manager and CEO. Her facilitation and consulting skills are frequently requested for strategic planning and organizational change projects.
Barbara works with businesses, governments, and not-for-profit organizations to identify goals, create change management systems that work, and achieve superior results year after year. Her hands-on experience as a CEO, project manager, program developer, fiscal manager and leader give her a broad understanding of many aspects of managing an organization and enable her to coach and support individuals and teams in identifying and meeting their strategic goals over time.
In addition to her facilitation skills for work groups, Barbara has designed and delivered hundreds of adult learning programs, with specialization in management and leadership topics, from Systems Thinking and Strategic Management for the 21st Century to Building Leadership Development Systems. She is a dynamic facilitator of participative learning for adults and adolescents. In addition, she's trained hundreds of trainers in facilitation skills and training design. She develops excellent written designs/manuals for trainers, for consistent and effective training in specific topics, along with clear, helpful participant manuals and materials.
