The Haines Centre has a Strategic Alliance with Global Development Partners of Bejing China.  Su Yue “Richard” Zhou in Beijing and James R. “Jim” McClain of California.  This is in establishing the Haines Centre as a global network of strategic management consultants and is known as the Sino-American Haines Centre for Strategic Management based in Beijing. This is a natural strategic fit that brings together all the needed components (practical business experience in China, strategic management research, a proven strategic management system, and senior level perspective) for the executives of China’s emerging global firms.

Richard Zhou has been an entrepreneur and consultant in China for over a dozen years. Richard has founded a number of established, successful PRC enterprises. An engineer by education, Mr. Zhou worked for the State Railway Administration in China and then for an electronics company for two years in the USA before founding his marketing research and e-companies in China.

GDP and the Haines Centre assist North American enterprises with strategic market entry into China with Strategic Planning and Strategic Change, specifically in the construction (materials, furniture, and appliances), health (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, vitamins, and herbs), and oil, gas, and fertilizer industries.

She was a corporate senior HR executive and entrepreneur who pursued her dreams of forming her own consulting firm in 1996. Her firm, Vin Management Consultants, is a boutique HR service house. It commenced operations with the zeal to assist start-up companies in managing their people and search practices. Hence, it was an HRO—an HR Outsourcing firm—much before the rest of India realized this tremendous potential of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).

Sunil has worked with a variety of industries ranging from banking, manufacturing, social organizations, educational institutions, and governmental divisions as well as with the World Bank, UNDP, JBIC, and JICA. Formerly, he was a lecturer at Ruhuna University, a marketing consultant, and chairman for numerous companies. Dr. Robert L. Reeves

During his 26 years heading the nationally recognized Poway Unified School District, the district became a model for organizational development utilizing both Systems Thinking and Strategic Planning. With a strong commitment to vision, mission and core values, the schools are high performing and have won numerous national awards.
He focused the energy of each school and operating division on the main mission developed through strategic planning: All Students Learning— Whatever It Takes. Under his leadership the district grew to over 5,000 employees, 32,000 students in 31 schools, and an operating budget of over $220,000,000. In partnering with parents, the community, and business groups, he was able to develop volunteers in support of the schools.
His new book “What Every Rookie Superintendent Should Know: Surviving Year One” is a powerful tool in the management of a systems approach to organizational development and success. While focused on the leadership of school systems, the lessons and learnings provided are sound for any organizational leader.
As President/CEO of his consulting group, he is training management personnel and providing guidance in the systems planning and evaluation processes. For 35 years he has been involved with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, accrediting schools in California, Hawaii, and East Asia. He is a founder of the San Diego Department of Education's Superintendent's Technology Advisory Board, leading the planning for technology reform for the county's 43 school districts.

Earning a B.A. in mathematics and an Ed.D. in Administration at UCLA, he later added a Ph.D. in Human Behavioral Sciences, working with Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard and the school district.
