The Haines Centre has a Strategic Alliance with Global Development Partners of Bejing China. Su Yue “Richard” Zhou in Beijing and James R. “Jim” McClain of California. This is in establishing the Haines Centre as a global network of strategic management consultants and is known as the Sino-American Haines Centre for Strategic Management based in Beijing. This is a natural strategic fit that brings together all the needed components (practical business experience in China, strategic management research, a proven strategic management system, and senior level perspective) for the executives of China’s emerging global firms. Richard Zhou has been an entrepreneur and consultant in China for over a dozen years. Richard has founded a number of established, successful PRC enterprises. Dr. Sunil Jayantha Nawaratne is in Sri Lanka and is a Certified Business Associate of the Centre. He has more than 20 years of strategic planning and marketing experience in various professional assignments in Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Korea, and Japan.
Sunil has worked with a variety of industries ranging from banking, manufacturing, social organizations, educational institutions, and governmental divisions as well as with the World Bank, UNDP, JBIC, and JICA.
